Mizha assumed the role of Director/CEO at Macksons Paints Lanka, a key subsidiary of Macksons Holdings, at the age of 28. Armed with a Management degree and proficiency in analytics and leadership, Mizha has been instrumental in driving the growth and operational excellence of the company.
From an early age, Mizha demonstrated prowess in essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, logic, and analysis, which she further honed through studies in finance, statistics, mathematics, and accounting. Under her leadership, Macksons Paints Lanka expanded cost-effectively post-pandemic, focusing on operational efficiency and strategic expansion.
Mizha’s long-term vision propelled the company to explore international markets, resulting in a strong presence in over 20 countries across Asia, Africa, and Europe. By understanding market needs and innovating new products and services, the company garnered numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious Gold Award in the extra-large category of the chemical export industry segment at the NCE Export Awards 2024, marking the third consecutive year of recognition.
As CEO, Mizha played a pivotal role in steering the company through the challenges of the pandemic and economic crises, prioritizing sustainable practices, waste reduction, and energy efficiency while expanding both locally and globally. Her creativity, empathetic work ethic, adaptability, and communication skills earned her admiration from her team and peers, contributing significantly to the company’s resilience and retention of its top position in the industry.
Mizha’s leadership has also been recognized internationally, with Macksons Paints being the only local paint business awarded the prestigious Lead Safe Certification by IPEN USA, underscoring her commitment to the company’s growth and sustainability.
